I have not taken a Trafalgar trip and was wondering how old are the people on the tours. Also are the trips mostly couples or singles? Thanks.

couples and adult groups(sisters, friends, adult members of families) mostly, very few singles, ages usually mid-30's to 60's. I usually travel solo, and find people to spend tours and free time with - enjoy.

Hi,
I was recently on the TT Breakway (Ultimate Tour) and the age group was mainly 25 to 35 with a couple of younger and a couple of older. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! I would recommend Breakaway any day!

I did winter break Real Europe last year and their was a big range in ages. We had only two retired couples and mostly middle aged couples but a few in their twenties. There were many singles both female and male of all ages. We even had quite a few children--about eight, I think ranging in ages from about 8 to 13. Our tour guy told us that usually a tour is at least 50% retired couples but that on the winter breaks tours there is much more diversity.

Just note that Breakaway tours are age-specific. They do not accept anyone over the age of 35. That is why you get a younger crowd.

I often have a chuckle to myself when I log on in the morning my time, & see what has occurred over night. It is wonderful that while I sleep others are busily tap-tapping, so the BB never rests & long may it stay that way. But how on earth did we manage to unearth a thread that has been inactive for nigh on 5 years? Big Grin Confused

Go back to sleep Dimpz, you're raving Big Grin. I know what you mean, where did this come from, and more importantly, why?

Listen, I go to bed comfortable in the knowledge that you lot are looking after the world for me. You can be sure when you're asleep we get up to nonsense, and the world goes to hades in a handcart. That's only one of the many reasons we need you. Big Grin Razzer

Well, my terrier (he's an Aussie terrier; trouble is his middle name Wink ) got into some dark chocolate this afternoon when my head was turned. He's now in the vet hospital and will be there all night being encouraged to frow up many times.

Listen, all kidding aside, that stuff is lethal, and the vet said the better the chocolate the more lethal, and I'm glad we called the vet and he said, bring him over immediately. Whew! Poor little sweetie. Hope he'll be alright after his otherwise doting owner poisoned him.

Don't worry. It's just me having a senior moment. I was up at 4am this morning. No wonder my brain is scrambled. I'll remove the post.

OMG I would be catatonic Frowner I hope the naughty little fellow will be OK.

We have been put on duty owing to the health problems of one of our daughters pups, medication needs to be administered during the day, not to mention being kept under close surveillance while convalescing. With these two if there is trouble to be found, trust me they will find it. Frowner

Brenda ~ I hope your little Aussie terrier recovers fully, I know the feeling, my little Silky terrier ate snail bait once and I went through the same thing, she is now 18 years old, blind, deaf and eats like a horse and just refuses to die. These terriers are made of strong stuff.

Brenda, I agree I hope he recovers fully. I wasn't sure what your dog looked like so I checked on google, it is cute and I think I have met a few walking my dog.
My dog (Wheaten terrier) loves chocolate and I know it is poisonous, but we have given him some very small amounts. He is a lot bigger though. I am going to veto it and tell my family about what has happened to your dog.

Marie ~ I buy doggie choc buttons in the supermarket for the grand-dogs. I don't think anyone should miss out on chocolate. Cool
