We just returned home from travelling on this tour from Trafalgar - in the first group to travel on this new tour. It was marvellous! We were a group of 31 participants from Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Wales. The included buffet breakfasts and dinners as well as the optional dinners were tasty and filling. Our tour director Noel and bus driver Hannes were great ambassadors for Trafalgar. Weather was ideal - warm and boot-free. We had gently falling snow on our morning which took us to Neuschwanstein Castle and it was picture perfect with snow on the rooftops and on the trees. The Christmas markets varied from place to place - some more upscale and less Christmassy than others. Our itinerary indicated that the Christmas markets wouldn't be operational in Lucerne but there were two - one in the train station and another along the river. Met some wonderful people - hoping that they read this and make a posting here.

Hi Merry welcome to the BB.Glad you had a great tour. We had Noel on the Grand Alpine in 2005. He is a great guy.
